About Kamilah Barbara

Raised in the mountains of North East Georgia, Kamilah Barbara now finds her home in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. She has been an avid lover of the arts and all forms of creative expression for as long as she can remember and feels compelled to help and love everyone who crosses her path.

Kamilah Barbara has been a follower of the Sufi way since 2016 and took hands with Salima Adelstein in 2017 while attending her first Sufi School in Boston, Massachusetts. She is a 2021 clinical chaplain graduate through the Universal Chaplaincy program led by Amany Shalaby and Sara Rifqa Guillot. She lived, worked and served the Farm of Peace community for nearly 5 years and now finds herself compelled to give in new and exciting ways!

Combining what she has learned on the Sufi path with the guidance of so many others in the service and recovery community Kamilah's techniques can be found no place else.

"I have a great need to share the light I experience through the great teachers whom have passed through my life. If it were not for their guidance I may not have survived the trials I've faced.

I truly believe we ALL deserve to love and be loved fully and that we ALL have the capacity to find that within. Connecting our creative-tangible-selves to our spiritual, heart-centered-selves, creates an infinite loop with which we are constantly fed and being fed with Divine Light."
